BASIC Arcade Controller Kit for Raspberry Pi - Cherry Red

The BASIC arcade controller kit from Monster Joysticks is designed to be an easy to assemble, durable and fun project for anyone from noobs to pro's.

The shell has been laser cut from high quality HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) which results in an extremely durable and reliable casing. The BASIC joystick and buttons have been selected by us to offer the best arcade action at a lower price point. 

Assembly of the kit is easy and only requires a screwdriver, no soldering required. Full assembly instructions can be found here and our RetroPie configuration guide is also available.

Included with the kit is the Monster Joysticks GPIO Interface for the Raspberry Pi. This is compatible with versions 5,4,3B+,3,2,B+,A+ of the Raspberry Pi and is compatible the SNESDEV drivers and is included in the hugely popular RetroPie software suite. This makes the software setup a complete doodle, you may even have all of this setup on your Raspberry Pi already so you can drop it into our Arcade Controller Kit and away you go.

Please Note: Raspberry Pi is not included.

The included GPIO interface is also USB Compatible you can use this kit as a USB joystick either with or without a Raspberry Pi installed, this allows you to connect multiple kits to either a single kit with a Raspberry Pi installed or to a Windows, Mac, Linux or MiSTer computer for multiplayer action.
